How do I get from Big Lake to Riverview Church?
From Big Lake, take Highway 65 South toward Minneapolis. Merge onto I-35W South toward St. Paul. Take Exit 36B for Grant Street in Anoka. Turn right on Grant Street—we're at 752 Grant St. The drive is about 15 minutes. Plenty of free parking when you arrive.
What should I expect during my first visit?
You'll find a warm welcome from our community. We start at 4:00 PM on Sundays with genuine worship, an engaging message about faith and life, and time for connection. Children are cared for in our Kids Ministry, and you'll have time to ask questions or just observe. Come whenever works for you—there's no pressure.
Do you have childcare during the service?
Yes! We offer Kids Ministry for newborns through 5th grade every Sunday at 4:00 PM. Your children will experience age-appropriate teaching, fun activities, and a safe, caring environment. You can focus on worship knowing they're in great hands.
Is there anything I need to bring or know before visiting?
Bring yourself. That's all. Come as you are—there's no dress code, no judgment, and no expectations. If you'd like to let us know you're coming, you can fill out our visit form online, but it's not required. Just show up whenever you're ready.
What time does service start, and how long does it last?
We gather at 4:00 PM every Sunday. The service runs approximately 75 minutes. We wrap up with plenty of time for dinner or the rest of your Sunday evening. It's a great time slot for families and anyone who wants a relaxed start to their week.
